Photography Graffiti

This is part of my Level 3 Creative Media Course for photography I didn't design this myself these were photographs taken for my photography portfolio.
I took these photos in November 2014 I took these photographs in the Northern Quarter In Manchester as I thought it would be the best place to take photographs for graffiti in Manchester.
My thoughts when I started this work was I was very keen to start it because it was all new to me and I didn't do any photography in school and by the second photography Lesson I had already chosen my 2 subjects which was Graffiti Art and Nature.
Before starting this I looked on one of my friends instgram pages Called Joe Ladley he does photography so I had a look at some of his work I also did some research online and looked at some other photographers such as Martha Cooper who was a female urban photographer and I also again had a look at some of the photography work at the Manchester Art Gallery.
The strengths with this photograph are how all the different colours contrast to the suggestion box and I think all the different colours in the background are very interesting. The theories of mind with graffiti is that it catches your eye when your out and about and also can be really interesting to look at with all the different colours styles and patterns.
The weakness in these photographs are that I could maybe have used the technique the Rule of Thirds to take these photographs
